    Social and Emotional Learning helps students understand and manage their emotions, behavior and relationships with others. CMS is committed to educating the whole child through student-centered practices focused on helping students develop the academic, social and emotional skills they need to have the best chance for success in school and life.

    The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) has identified 5 core competencies that students need to master for social and emotional growth during the PreK-12 years.
