The CMS African-American Males Task Force was created. Its goal: to identify the drivers for African-American male academic achievement and to recommend sustainable solutions to increase overall excellence.
An American Reading Company Report titled Educating Black and Latino Males Striving for Educational Excellence and Equity explores touchstones and solutions on how best to accelerate school engagement and academic achievement of males of color. To that end, our CMS Making it Better platform unites students, teachers, parents and community leaders to work together to create a culture of acceptance, achievement and accomplishment in each and every school.
